As someone who’s impatient when it comes to coffee stuff, I was genuinely impressed with The Espresso Shop. I placed my order and got the dispatch email the same day, which already put me in a good mood.

I ordered this part for my older Gaggia machine and it fit just like the site said it would. I did have to spend a little time double-checking the model numbers to make sure I was getting the right one, but once it arrived everything worked out fine. The order showed up packed nicely and the box itself was sturdy, so nothing was damaged. There was more paper stuffed inside than I expected, which was fine, but it took a bit of effort to pull everything out and clean up afterward. Everything looked neat when I opened it, and overall I’m happy with it. Only small downside was the outer box had a little dent, so not totally perfect.

I ordered a few bits from The Espresso Shop and the payment side was painless. They had the standard card option, plus PayPal, which is usually what I go for because I don’t always like handing my card details over directly.

The checkout was quick and I got the confirmation through straight away, so no messing about or random errors. I half expected there to be some little catch or a push toward one payment method, but it was all straightforward.

I’m giving it 4 stars only because I’d have liked to see a couple more pay-later options, since that feels like something shops sometimes leave out on purpose. Still, overall it worked fine and I don’t really have any complaints

I had to return an item, and to be fair, everything did get sorted out in the end, so it wasn’t a bad experience overall. The only thing was that the whole process took a bit longer than I expected. I sent emails and they did reply, so it’s not like I was ignored or anything, but the responses weren’t especially quick, which made it feel like I had to wait around a little more than I would’ve liked. In the end, the return was handled and the issue was resolved, but the process could definitely be a bit smoother and faster.

I ordered a few things for my espresso machine and, yeah, I’m genuinely impressed. The quality feels really solid in the hand, not that lightweight plasticky stuff that makes you instantly regret buying it. Everything arrived looking decent and it just had that proper, well-made feel to it.
The parts fit fine and my coffee does taste better already, which is obviously the main thing. I am satisfied with the overall purchase and would consider ordering from theespressoshop.co.uk again. Also, weirdly exciting how much difference a few small bits can make

It took a bit longer than I hoped, and I remember feeling frustrated at first because I use that grinder all the time. But in the end, support came through and got the issue fixed. Not a perfect experience, but I was relieved when it was finally working again.
